Her debut single and album both made number one for several weeks. That first album has been made platinum,
and most of her following albums.

Many people started to question the way that she portrayed herself in her movies. In what should have been the
perfect picture of innocence, she was sexy and provocative, appearing scantily clad at the MTV music awards in
2000. She was labelled the Pop Princess around the world, because she appeared to be perfect.

The turning point in her singing career was probably when she appeared at MTV with a giant live snake wearing next
to nothing. However she continued with her career, appearing in the film 'Crossroads' and touring worldwide on the
'Dream within a Dream Tour'. Then, the four year relationship with Justin Timberlake ended, forcing herself to take 6
months off. This however did not bring her peace, as the paparazzi followed her wherever she went. She was then
found out to have lost her virginity which she had sworn to keep til married, and was found smoking and drinking late
at nights. Then she got married in Las Vegas to her childhood friend Jason Alexander, which was annulled 55 hours
later.

She started dating Kevin Federline in 2004 and secretly married him later that year. And now she appeared a
changed woman, unconcerned with what the public thought, she started to go out looking like trailer trash not 'one
million dollars'. In April 2005 Britney announced her pregnancy and nine months after, she gave birth to a son,
named Sean Preston.

Now she can be found filming 'In The Pink' in the USA, whilst taking care of her son, and hanging with her husband
Kevin.
